Monday Inspiration: Getting the Most out of Yourself

I think that the term hitting the wall means more about a mental decision actually than anything else. I think physically there’s things that happen where your body breaks down in a race... but the more I race, the more I have those experiences where you push that limit, I feel like its always kind of a decision in your mind where you say I’m done, I quit. And for me that’s what my training is based around is finding those times in training where you’re right on the edge and you know you have a decision to either keep going and see what you can get out of yourself or to say this is too much, and stop, because it hurts so bad.
